Hi there,
I'm Daniel - a franco german freelance Illustrator and Animator currently living in Germany.
I've always been drawn to (get it - DRAWN - to...) creating whatever is needed to visually tell a story. Since as long as I can remember I've preferred visualizing what I thought and felt, rather than putting it into words. I later on professionalized this skill or technique during my studies and personal projects.
While studying traditional drawing, composition and illustration for way too long, I started telling stories not only through static images but on a timeline - the love I always had for animation ever since my childhood was finally finding its way into my work.
I eventually graduated with a traditional short animation. The narrative aspect has always been very important in my work, which is something very helpful in my professional work as an illustrator. To find and tell the stories people probably don't see in their own products, to translate feelings and atmosphere to visuals that help shaping their vision.
